Schengen Borderless Destination of European Nations
An agreement signed in June 1985 among five European nations to abolish border check post and proposed to create common area, which may help in smooth movement of trade, traffic and people among signatory states. This common area is later known as Schengen Area , which now allows people and vehicular traffic to freely move between one nation and other European nation without stopping at borders or any check posts. At present 26 European nations are signatory of the Schengen Agreement and some of important nations are namely Belgium, Finland, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, Sweden, Spain, France, Norway, Portugal, Austria, and the Netherlands.
